
This is Hamburger High Hat! This is a favorite dish at my house. Welcome to 2022! I will be sharing a recipe each week featuring....Beckler beef! I don't know about you, but I struggle to figure out what to make for dinner. Each week I will share a recipe and picture of a family favorite using beef. Week 1 is loaded on our website, it is a meal that all Beckler's love...Hamburger High Hat!
Recipe:
Ingredients:
1/2 pound of bacon
1 pound of Beckler ground beef
1/2 cup diced onion
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp garlic salt
1 cup sour cream
16 oz of egg noodles
poppy seeds
Directions:
Cut bacon into bite-size pieces and saute bacon over medium heat, in a large skillet for 5 minutes, or until the desired doneness.
Add hamburger and onion to bacon and cook slowly until the onion is golden and hamburger is brown-about 5 minutes.
Pour off excess fat.
Add chicken soup and seasonings.
Heat until bubbly
In a pot boil your water and cook the noodles according to the bag directions.
Just before serving stir in sour cream. Heat to a simmering point and then stir your hot noodles into the skillet. Add poppy seeds to the top (no more than 2 tablespoons).
Serve immediately.
